I long thought my favorite magazine of all time was too proud for technology, but in retrospect I should have known that it's a very slippery slope from color photography (which this glossy did not admit to its pages until a desperate revamping in the 1980s) to the Internet.
Yes, The New Yorker website, formerly but a digital shadow, now includes actual articles. Someone please tell Al Gore that his invention has officially arrived.
